They are instantly lovey-dovey and they seem to be straight out of a Disney movie. Miranda plays the role of a girl who has never seen a true man before, and Ferdinand plays the role of the awaiting prince who has no family left. They seek refuge in each other and can be seen as the tool that Shakespeare uses to make fun of the overused plot. They are supposed to be used as a comedic element as Shakespeare over uses them and exaggerates the situation. The dangers of this is that the families are essentially at war and this can end badly for either side. Love can be created for many different reasons, whether it is social pressure, a feeling that they get, familiarity, or physicality.
