4. Get disappointed.
People may go through this process many times before they realize that they don't need another person to make them better. While it is easier to constantly have a crush, It is ultimately more heathy to work on self improvement until your "soulmate" comes along and turns everything upside down. And you should never change yourself, especially for someone who most likely doesn't give you a second thought. Having a crush be an advantage or disadvantage heavily depends on the crush. If the person is a “bad boy” and has bad qualities such as being disrespectful, rude, and overall bad, then having the crush will be negative. You might start acting like them and worsen as a person. On the flip side, if your crush is a good person, you might start gaining their good qualities and bettering yourself. It also depends how heavy your crush is on someone, if you’re obsessed, it can lead to unhealthy habits.
