MATHS

This week

This week in Maths the students have been consolidating their learning of doubling and multiplication. Students should be confident with their 2s times tables, as well as their 5s and 10s. Additional times table revision material on LMS.

SCIENCE

This week

This week, students learned about comparing animals, including humans and how are they similar and different in their body parts and body covering, number of legs. They play bamboozle about adult and young animals. They used plastic toys to compare the physical features of animals, answered pages 45-48 of Cambridge workbook, color data found in a graph and lastly sort out animal photos according to animal’s number of legs.This week the students learned the following topics and performed these tasks:

a. to know that humans need to manage diet, maintain hygiene, and move regularly to be healthy;

b. describe what illness is and;

c. describes the common signs of illness in humans.

This week

Students continued with challenge 4 - My country, your country.
Students continued to discuss what they love about their country. What they do in their free time - where they like to visit and what they like to eat.
