Lucy was very independent, she cut her hair short, wore makeup, short skirts, and she was very rebellious. she wanted to be on stage like the flickers. Lucy went to acting school and was told that she couldn't sing or dance as well as the other girls but, she thought that she could learn. Her and Desi got a divorced. She stared in Maude, wildcat, and Stone Pillow. Her friend Bob Hope invited her to the academy awards. On November, 1961 Lucy got married to Gary Morton. Desi was admitted to the hospital and died of lung cancer.
