Sunset paints the sky

Golden waves kiss the shoreline

Day whispers goodbye

This haiku talks about a quiet sunset at the beach.  Line1 shows the colorful sky.  Line 2 tells how waves touch the sand.  Line 3 says the day ends softly. I like sunsets because they make me happy and calm. Haiku is short but can show big feelings.  Just like Carmen's poems, it finds beauty in small moments.

       I think Feedback is so constructive. In my high school , my teacher said my writing was messy. I felt sad but asked my friend for help. He showed me how to plan sentences. My writing is cleaner now.

       To avoid the Dunning-Kruger effect, You should always ask yourself How can  do more better. After finishing work, show it to others person and listen to their ideas. Like when I taken  photos last week, my brother said the picture colours were too dark. I learn more skills to fixed it and the picture looked nicer.

       I know failure will teaches me something. If I think I’m good at everything, I might miss my mistakes. So I keep learning little by little.

What makes our school special is that we learn in three languages - Chinese, English. English seemed hard at first, but our teachers made it fun with games and songs. Now I'm so glad I learned it.

After school, there were always fun activities. I joined the robot club, and our team even won a competition! The playground was our favorite hangout spot for basketball and chatting.

Now that I've graduated, I'll miss CDSJ5 so much. This school didn't just teach me from books - it taught me how to be a better person.
