- Do we need to name the route of administration for any of the medications in the PPH or Eclampsia scenarios?
- Do we need to say "40IU in 500ml normal saline at 125ml/hr" for PPH or could we just say "an oxytocic drug infusion"?
- Do we need to name the 3 hypertensives in PPH (labetalol, nifedipine, hydralazine)?

You need to demonstrate knowledge of the drugs that would be used in a given an emergency (oxytocic drug would be acceptable but naming the type is better - syntocinon, syntometrine etc), what they would be used for, route of administration. If you are not 100% sure of dosages then state where you would find this information (proforma, guidelines etc). Do not guess at dosages as this is unsafe practice.

I have noticed there is a pinard present on the osce station set up pictures. Will this be the case on the day and will it have to be demonstrated? as I thought we only had to say we would be doing continuous monitoring. Would I have to say continuous monitoring through either CTG, sonicaid or pinard? thank you
