The study includes all stages of its existence, that is, the stages that range from the extraction and processing of raw materials, their manufacture, transport, distribution, use, reuse or recycling and the final disposal of waste.

The main function of a life cycle analysis is to provide information that helps to identify opportunities for improvement, in order to confront the associated risks and finally make the necessary decisions to improve environmental performance. The (LCA) allows to compare between processes of the same product or between products of different materials, so that this information has direct application in the design and development of products, the continuous improvement of processes, strategic planning, green marketing, as well as in the development of public policies".
