As a result of such interactive tutorial sessions it was relatively easy to learn more about our ancestor and the hardships they experienced which cannot be found in any form six text book. This foundation course has taught me how to be more appreciative of my culture and not take the opportunities I have for granted. The past assignments have enabled me to further advance my comprehension skills as well as my critical thinking skills. The University has developed a remarkable program which will be beneficial to all students in the long run as the knowledge gained from the Caribbean Civilization course cannot be captured anywhere else.
