         <title>No, because the seafloor is spreading in some places, because of tectonic plates moving apart and magma rising up and forming new rock. In other places tectonic places are moving together and pushing rock into magma, where it is melted and recycled. This is pushing some continents apart and others together, eventually changing what the earth looks like altogether. </title>
