         <title>Taigas</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Taigas are the largest biomes in the world! They were created by ice in the last Ice Age that completely glaciated the surface and eventually melted to create this swampy ecosystem. There are even still layers of permanently frozen soil called permafrost. This process happens very slowly because it took a very large amount of time for the glaciers to melt. Taigas were created by weathering over 18,000 years ago when the ice created these swamps by breaking down the area around them. This was a deconstructive process of expanding the land around the water since whenever water freezes it expands. These Taigas most famously lie in Russia, Canada, and Scandinavian areas such as Kamchatka Kurile Taiga, Eastern Canadian Shield Taiga, and the Scandinavian and Russian Taiga. I had no idea what a Taiga was but now after research, I am fascinated by them and am glad I had the chance to learn about what makes them special.&nbsp; &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>River Deltas</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A River delta is created by a constructive force because the land formed into the river, and the forces did not break anything to make it, it formed on its own. A River Delta forming happens slowly by the water moving. The slowly moving water that makes up the river and the development of sediment allows the river to spread from its single area to other parts of the Delta. A delta is mostly formed by water which has three parts where the water can go. The Deltas are also formed by the Deposition of sediment which is carried through the waves but sometimes, it is too heavy, and it falls through the current which constructively builds up the Delta.3 examples of deltas around the world, are The Amazon Delta, The Idus River Delta, and finally, The Ebro Delta. (FUN FACT: Sometimes the deltas are so big people can actually live on them.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Mesa</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mesas are huge flat land-forms that come in different colors and can take a long time to be made. Mesas are formed by erosion and wind abrasion the water washes up tiny bits of sand gravel dirt and then the wind blows the sand onto the ground and it constructs and then forms the giant landform the mesa. It keeps repeating the process over and over and soon makes the mesa that we all know some mesas can be bigger than other mesas like these other famous mesas. The Green Hill the reason it is called that is that it is all green with grass, the grand mesa is the biggest mesa in the world and it was formed 10.9 to 9.6 million years ago and is covered in volcanic rock, and the battlement mesa is a nice site viewing fishing and hunting area for people to enjoy and it's top is covered in basalt. All of these mesas are famous these mesas are all constructive and destructive<br>the process to be made the reason it is destructive is because of wind abrasion it scraps at the ground with sand and dirt and makes it look like the mesa.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Dunes</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Sand dunes are created by a constructive force and are an effect of deposition. The creation of a natural dune is rapid, and estimated for less than a month if conditions are right. Sand dunes are formed by deposition, and deposition is when water or wind moves a sediment from one area to another, and in this case, dunes are formed by wind. This creates other landforms such as glaciers, deltas, and dunes. Dunes are located in multiple places and the biggest ones are in Huacachina (Peru), Simpson Desert (Australia), and Badain Jaran Dunes (Mongolia and China).</strong></div>]]></description>

         <title>Barrier Bars / Barrier Islands</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The process of the making of this landform is constructive because it's caused by the <strong>build-up</strong> of sand and sediment. Some barrier bars/islands form fast but others take a little longer. The ones that take a little longer are the cause of sea-level fluctuations. The ones that happen in a shorter time frame are the cause of the interaction of shallow-water waves. Barrier bars/islands are mainly formed by water because it's caused by <strong>waves</strong> of the <strong>ocean</strong> which is water.&nbsp;You could also say it was formed by ice because 18,000 years ago after the last ice age the glaciers melted and the ocean rose. When it rose it flooded the ridges behind beaches which started these landforms. Deposition played the main role in creating this landform. Waves carrying sediment deposited them in one area which caused it to build up and create barrier bars/islands. Some famous sand bars/islands are Amelia Island, Hilton Head, and Great Barrier Island.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Peninsula</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;My land form is a peninsula. It is a piece of land surrounded by water or protecting out into a body of water. A peninsula is formed when water rises against land and slowly over several years causes erosion forming a peninsula. This is constructive and destructive because erosion happens and erosion is destructive and constructive because it breaks apart land forms and constructs the rock to something else. Some peninsulas are formed by mud and sand being deposited between a series of islets making a peninsula. This is constructive because it is building something not breaking. It can take thousands even millions of years for the water to rise up against land and cause erosion. It can also take about the same time for mud and sand to be deposited, therefor it can take several years for a peninsula to form. A peninsula is mostly formed by water because it is leaning against land causing erosion which makes a peninsula form. And also wind helps form a peninsula because that is how mud and sand can be deposited which could also form a peninsula. Erosion plays a role because the water erodes the land making a peninsula. Deposition also plays a role because mud and sand could get blown by the wind building a peninsula, that is deposition. 3 popular and large peninsulas are the Arabian peninsula, the Deccan peninsula, and the Indochina peninsula.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Canyons are an amazing landform on earth. But how does it form? That is what this Padlet will tell you about! Are Canyons constructive or destructive? They are a destructive force because they form as water weathers the rock, which makes rocks break down and form the beautiful Grand Canyon. But does a canyon take a long time or does it happen rapidly? The canyon´s formation is slow. for example, the Grand Canyon took about five to six million years to become what it is today! Did the canyons form by water, erosion, or ice? Canyons get mainly formed by water and erosion. But how did weathering and erosion make the Canyons? The water goes into the cracks of the rocks that are soon canyons and in winter the water freezes and expands in the rock and forces the cracks to become larger. All while bits of stone erodes and after a long time, a canyon is formed. What are some Canyons? Some examples of these beautiful landforms are the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA, Fish River Canyon in Namibia, and Charyn Canyon, Kazakhstan. These beautiful landforms are great to visit! maybe you could go see one for yourself one day. you won't regret it!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My land form is the beach.The beach is formed with a constructive force because of the&nbsp; constructive waves it can also make the beach constructive and make sand and soil and forms the beach.&nbsp;<br>And they way it formed was vary vary slow and took more then thousands of years to make think about it every time you go to the beach one little grand of sand will be made.<br>So to fill it all up it would take thousands of years<br>Water because it took waves to make it so water.<br>It was formed also by deposit because it is soil and rocks and sand well to make sand.<br>There are a lot of good beaches around the world like Hawaii the Bahamas and horseshoes bay and even more pig beach or Ace source d'Argent beach.<br>And this is just some of the worlds best beaches.<br>beach land form.<br>That is the land form of a beach and how it was made.</div>]]></description>

Most cliffs are made from wind and water because it breaks away rock from bigger landforms. Most cliffs are made by erosion because the wind and water break rock away from larger landforms and creates the giant wall on a big cliff. 3 famous cliffs are The Vermilion Cliffs, Arizona, USA; Torres del Paine, Chile ,and Kalaupapa Cliffs,Hawaii, USA which the picture is up top.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The making of a hill is building itself up from the earth and doesn't include things like weathering or erosion. It will take a long time for a simple hill to be formed it if is known that it could take up to hundreds of thousands of years just form a simple hill think how long it would have to take for hill ranges to be formed but one thing we need to take into account is that a hill is basically pulling itself from the ground. A hill is mostly made by wind and yes it is a constructive process but it still is mostly made of wind and what the wind does is give it its shape because there might be some rocks on the top of the hill the wind would knock the rocks off the hill giving it it's known dome shape and the wind doesn't cause the hill to move either. The only thing weathering does in this landform is for the rocks on the hill to fall off, but erosion moves it from one place to another and after all, deposition puts all the rock together to make things like dunes and beaches or beaches even islands. some important hills include the cypress hills in Canada or the Cordillera de guaguanco hills in Cuba or even the siebenge birge hills in Germany.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>V-Shaped Valley</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; <em>The process that formed the V-Shaped Valley was destructive because the river cuts through the rock over time so instead of building up, the river is disintegrating the rock over time.<br>&nbsp; The formation happens slowly, this is because the valley can be thousands of feet deep and tens of miles long, so this process can take between ten thousand and a hundred thousand years.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; The V-Shaped Valley was mostly created from the effects of water, because over time strong streams will cut through the rock to make the landform, and I know that a strong stream is going to be moving water.</em></div><div>&nbsp;<em>One role weathering did was over time the weathering denigrated the rocks with rivers or strong streams, and erosion cared all of the small pebbles away which made the V-Shaped Valley as deep and wide as it is.<br>&nbsp;Some examples of V-Shaped Valley are The Grand Canyon of the Colorado River, Napf region Switzerland, and Yosemite Valley.</em></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Isthmus</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp;An Isthmus is a narrow strip of land formed by the water around it. An Isthmus is mostly created by water because the water on both sides of the Isthmus hits the Isthmus and part of the Isthmus falls off. To create an Isthmus it takes about 3 million years because only small parts of the Isthmus comes off at a time. The most famous Isthmus's are called the Isthmus of Panama, the Isthmus of Suez and the Isthmus of Catanzaro. An Isthmus is destructive because the water hits the Isthmus and the Isthmus goes into the water and doesn't form back to the Isthmus. For an Isthmus to form it causes weathering by water because the water hits the Isthmus and parts of the Isthmus chips off into the water.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Weathering,erosion,wind,and water form mountains by when the plates push against each other it causes weathering because mountain use small pieces to help the force that make a mountain and so then weathering will break down rock that is cause by wind and water.But after it will have to move the rock somewhere else and that is erosion.The formation to make mountain is a slow process because it loses it force that will make the mountains and that why it take millions of year to form a mountain.</div>]]></description>

The process that formed the archipelago is destructive.I know this because I learned that an archipelago is normally formed when a volcano erupts . The formation of the landform happened slowly. It can take millions of years to create an archipelago.When the volcano erupts from the ocean floor it takes a while for it to form.&nbsp; My landform was mostly created by the effects of water.I know this because the archipelago was formed by a volcano from the ocean. Erosion and deposition played important roles in making some archipelagos. Although it’s rare, I found that archipelagos are also formed by erosion and sediment.&nbsp; This gets carried to a different place and that is how deposition helps this landform.Three examples of my landform are the Arctic Archipelago, the Malay Archipelago, and the Sea Archipelago. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>Gulches are beautiful land forms. A gulch is formed by erosion and is destructive. It is fast. It took three to five days to make the Buckskin Gulch. Since it is created by erosion, or it is created by water. The weathering in the process breaks down the rocks into pieces erosion is due to streams or rivers and rivers can carve right through the rocks and deposition moves the pebbles and broken down rocks away. The Buckskin Gulch in Utah, the Mann Gulch in Montana, and the Timber Gulch in Oregon are some of the biggest gulches found. But there are bigger gulches then those.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

And so over time it will change and become a cove.<br>&nbsp; A cove is mostly formed by water from the ocean .&nbsp; On windy day, big waves come and crash onto the shore.<br>&nbsp;Coves are destructive because it's weathered down.&nbsp; It starts as a beach and over time it will gets weathered down form the water and become a cove!&nbsp; Coves are mostly formed by weathering and erosion!&nbsp; Huge waves crashes on shore,&nbsp; The waves transport sand onto and off of beaches.&nbsp; The erosion is the movement from the sand.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Some poplar coves are Jabson's cove,&nbsp; Lulworth cove,&nbsp; and kynonce cove.&nbsp; The number 1 most poplar cove is Lulworth cove, its at the southern coast of England,&nbsp; There is About &nbsp;1,000,000 visitors per year!<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>a plateaus is both constructive and destructive because of erosion but also constructive because it builds up with weathering forming rock together. a plateaus is built slowly because one year takes it up only 0.01 inch and takes millions of years. wind is used the most out of water wind and ice the wind gets the materials together also weathering helps a whole lot with getting all the rock as well. Weathering helps because it picks up the materials with wind and builds it very slowly. erosion and weathering work together weathering helps build it and erosion move it.          <description><![CDATA[<div>An Island is a landform that is smaller than a state, and an Island is surrounded by water. When an island is being formed the process of it being formed is called constructive. Constructive forces help build an island. An island is formed by a volcano eruption. This is a very slow process. The formation of an island can take thousands of years to finish.  Some volcanos take three years and others take a thousand years. An island is mostly made of ice. Most islands were created during the ice age because of all the glaciers. When the ice melts it carries all of the rock sentiments that were in their original spot. That process is called erosion. After that, they are dropped off in a new spot. When a glacier moves it moves slowly. It collects rock and breaks down the rock. That process is weathering. Three examples of an island in Hawaii, Palawan, and Don Pedro.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>my land form is a cape. the cape is constructive because it dose not destroy anything it keeps it's shape it dose not change unless there is weathering. it's shape dose not change unless there is weathering or erosion then the cliffs start to brake that is how the cape is very sharp and uneven it use to be even but the weathering and erosion made it uneven and the cape is it's own island the cape takes 4 years to form because it grows to be big but the cape gets eroded and it gets so short caps are one of the smallest land forms. three land forms are sand dunes cape hills.    </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A sea cliff is constructive because the rocks build it up and it does not break anything down to create it. Sea cliffs can be made in 3 ways weathering, erosion, and even tectonic activity. Tectonic activity is the movement of the earth's crust which has formed the White Cliffs of Dover. Some cliffs are formed by erosion; this happens when wind, rain, and mostly water all of these can break down soft rock and settlement away from the cliff. In these weathering events, the settlement is washed away leaving the hard rock behind. Large rocks inside the cliff can be dislodged during weathering this can cause small pieces of soft settlement to be removed over time which can weaken the hold of some other rocks. When bigger pieces of rock fall out they tumble down the side of the cliff in what's called talus or scree what piles up at the bottom of the cliff the total time it takes to form one of thas cliff vary but usually takes a long time to build up all that rock. Some other cliffs are The Rupal Frant and the sea cliffs of E´treat.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The process of a Hoodoo is both constructive and deconstructive. What's the difference between the two? Let's find out! A deconstructive force is any type of force that breaks down the earth's surface. A constructive surface is an opposite. A constructive force is a force that builds the earth's surface. Weathering is a deconstructive process that causes the breaking down of rock. Whereas, Erosion is the transportation of that broken rock. These two forces work together to sculpt hoodoos. The main forces of weathering and erosion that create the Hoodoos are ice and rain. Now, how does deposition work into all of this? Deposition comes into play when the temperature is low, the water inside the rock starts to freeze and expand. This expansion, known as ice wedging, starts to break apart the rocks, forming interesting shapes which we call Hoodoos! Water continues to melt, then refreeze and reenters the cracks. This entire process is usually formed rapidly. The Hoodoo stones on the Northern Coast of Taiwan are specifically noticed for their unusually fast-growing Hoodoos. The stones formed as the seabed rose rapidly out of the ocean. Efforts have been made to slow the erosion in this area. Popular places to find Hoodoos are Bryce Canyon, Grand Staircase, and Drumheller.<br><br></div>]]></description>

A cliff can take from 5 minutes to millions and millions of years to form depending on the size of the cliff. Most cliffs are made from wind and water because it breaks away rock from bigger landforms. Most cliffs are made by erosion because the wind and water break rock away from larger landforms and creates the giant wall on a big cliff. 3 famous cliffs are The Vermilion Cliffs, Arizona, USA; Torres del Paine, Chile ,and Kalaupapa Cliffs,Hawaii, USA which the picture is up top.</div>]]></description>
