I can enlighten you, so practically what happend was Germany like sucks. SO they went into france and went into this place and took all there land and fance was like bro wth this is crazy.\They were really mad becasue there land losses and military losses, and so in order to rebuild economy they build alliances with Great britian and Russia, OOOOOH so all this tention started with Germany and Britan. I would do the same thing if I was france to be honest. Uhm, I feel like thats were there Militarism and Nationalism really kicked in because you need people to really trust and believe your country is the best to be the best so I feel like that was pretty messed up and there strong belif in there country helped the,. You know what else is messed up trench warfare, omg no way what is that. So in war there fighting and it would be like trench dug no mans land and how it works is like if you go in no mans land you get popped. But then like tropps will go to the other trench dugs and kill all the people in there only for the things they stole and be like im taking there land back and its a big cycle.
