We have covered this in class today and think it is important to incorporate in the assessment (as an element of understanding impact on stakeholders).

For example, the vegie garden can be used to teach kids about the concepts of need v's wants (what do we need to plant in the bed to contribute to the tuckshop v's what do we want to plant because they are yummy). Also economic sustainability is about exploring ethical consumerism, teaching skills for financial literacy, understanding the different professions that are needed for certain initiatives (e.g. a horticulturalist for the garden) this will contribute towards job literacy. Incorporating activities that contribute to entrepreneurial endeavours (e.g. shark tank is an ABC show that encourages new business ideas that can be emulated in a school environment). The following is a Mission Statement I have created for the home page/site analysis, it will follow with an overview/ description of the 3 pillars for sustainability and the stakeholder's (still working on this section).
Mission Statement:
Here at _____ we strive to develop sustainability education for a successful future not only for our students but for the local and global community. Sustainability is intertwined with learning as well as the overall school environment. Our sustainability education is based off the framework the three pillars of sustainability; Social, Economic and Environment.

I have decided call the individual SAP's- Individual Initiative Plans (IIP) as Assessment task 2 is the Sustainability Action Plan (SAP).
