We have 3 key objectives for our Student Leaders' Camp this year.

1. Building Strong Collaborative Relationships:

   We want to strengthen bonds between student leaders through team activities to build mutual understanding and trust.

2. Enhancing Leadership Capabilities:

   We want to engage fellow student leaders in interactive activities designed to strengthen their communication skills and develop innovative thinking capabilities through hands-on challenges and creative problem-solving opportunities.

3. Driving School Improvement:

   We want to provide fellow Student leaders with opportunities to demonstrate change leadership by identifying areas for school improvement, analysing current processes, and developing practical solutions to enhance our school environment.

Please work in your groups to plan one activity for each of our three camp objectives.

Activity: We can use words of encouragement and the students can pick one paper. The paper will be a random. After that, we can place them to their groups according to the words of encouragement, and the groups can be called encouragement words

Materials Needed:

Coloured Paper and Markers (for writing down the words but will be done beforehand)

Activity: We can do a game where we introduce ourselves with a fact but we have to write it out and make people guess what it’s supposed to be by giving small hints, but if we can’t guess it in under 5 minutes we have to forfeit. If we do get the answer correctly, the person that made it too easy for the rest to guess has to do a simple but fun dare! If the person who gets a dare, fails the dare, they will have to try again and write another fun fact about themselves, the downside is that they can never do it more then 3 times. But if they have nothing interesting to about themselves, which is highly unlikely, they can just introduce themself and their CCA

Activity: for grouping, we are going to give each prefect a card with a number. After that they will see what number they have and go to the exco that is holding their number.

Materials needed: Cue cards (hard pieces of paper? Cannot be too flimsy either.), Marker (to write their number), Sign boards with numbers that we are going to put on the cards.

Activity: Never have I ever

• Players take turns making a statement starting with "Never have I ever..." followed by something they've never done.

• For example: "Never have I ever been to space".

• If anyone has done the stated action, they must put down one finger.

• If no one drops a finger, the player who made the statement drops a finger.

No materials needed.

The game we chose is Human Bingo

Materials:

- Bingo cards with traits like "Has traveled abroad" or "Plays an instrument."

- Pens or markers.

How to Play:

1. Give each player a card and pen.

2. Players ask others if they match the description on their paper eg. do you eat apples

3. Write names in the squares if they match.

4. Finish a row just like in bingo

5. The first to complete a line says "Bingo!"

Idea: Each group would be names of fruits or vegetables that have a value that start with the same first letter of the fruit or vegetable. E.g : respectful raspberry

Grouping : The prefects/cca leaders will have to randomly pick up a colored paper with the group name written on it.

Materials:coloured paper, cardboard box

Activity Name: Tallest Tower

Procedure: All the student leader groups will receive limited materials. They will get 2 minutes to plan a how their structure will be. After that, they will get 10 minutes to build a strong, sturdy and creative structures. After that, we will check the sturdiness of the building. Then, we will check for the tallest building and the tallest building will receive a token of appreciation.

Materials needed: Chopsticks, Paper, Cardboard, Tape, Blu Tack, Plastics

Activity: We can use the qualities of a leader and write on cheap water bottles using permanent marker.People with the same qualities are in the same group.Then you can keep the bottle as a gift for participating.

Materials:cheap water bottles (90 anniversary bottles) + permanent marker.

Blow wind blow

Everyone will go on the stage, Joongho will say blow all the……..

Eg. people with glasses, people with long hair.

The max amount of people in a group is 10. After 5 rounds, the groups will be decided.

Activity: This activity will be an activity where when the prefects group each other into 2 groups and draw out somebody from the other team, the other team must guess who among them was the one who was drawn on the whiteboard. If they guess it wrong they have to do 5 jumping jacks, but if they guess it correctly they get a sticker as a token of appreciation.

Activity: Picture Charades

One team member is given a picture of an object and they have to draw it without telling the other team members directly what they draw.

Materials:

Ice Breaker activity: “who’s dis”

Steps: first, student leaders will introduce themselves, while writing their name down on a piece of paper. The facilitators will then shuffle the cards, and give them each a card to students standing in a circle. The students will have to identify the person whose name is written on the paper in order to pass the ice breaker activity. Each person will keep trying until they find who the person is.

Materials needed:

- rectangle shaped cards

- writing materials for each student leaders

Two truths and one Lie

• How to play: Each person says their names followed by three statements about themselves—two are true, and one is a lie. The rest of the group has to guess which one is the lie.

• Why it works: It’s a simple and fun way to get to know each other.

• Materials: None

Activity Name: Collaborative Storytelling

Procedure: The EXCO in-charge will tell the group a title for the story. The student leaders must each say 1 sentence one after to improve the story. The group who the EXCO thinks the story is really good will get a small token.

Materials: None

Activity: We can create simulation events where there are students that are misbehaving (E.G. running around, shouting when there are lessons going on, fighting/bullying) or in need of help (E.G. bruises, cuts, scratches, bleeding.) and we can test their patience and temper and see what they would do in that scenario. There will be different levels and the prefects can earn points. At the end of the game, they can use the points to redeem prizes. This game will reveal the true self of the prefects and will see if the have maintained their good behavior since the time when their teacher chose them to be a prefect.

Materials Needed: Actors, prizes, props.

Activity: one student leader to be blindfolded while the others to guide them in drawing a picture. Other student leaders to describe the picture and colours to help the blindfolded one.

Materials needed: Paper, picture, pencil, eraser, and colour pencils.

Communication game:

all students in the group are to stand randomly in a line. Then, the EXCO taking care of that group will announce a certain way to line up. ( not supposed to line up yet )

E.g. according to birthdays.

Then, there will be a twist, like “ all the boys cannot speak.”

The group will then have to find a way to communicate and line up accordingly.

( groups are allowed to use hand gestures )

Activity:

Give each group a set of materials (e.g., paper cups, rubber bands, straws, tape, string, and cardboard). Make sure that all teams have identical sets of materials.

The group’s task is to build the tallest tower possible within a 15-minute time limit, using only the materials provided.

The tower must also meet a certain criteria — for example, it must be able to hold a small object (like a coin or a pencil) on top for at least 10 seconds.

Materials:

paper cups, rubber bands, straws, tape, string, and cardboard

Idea: Broken Telephone.

Rules: There will be 2 teams competing against each other.

How to play : The first person of each group would be given a name of someone in their group. They would whisper it to each other ears one time. They will repeat this until the last person gets the word. If they all say the same word, they earn one point. The team with the most points will be the winning team.

Values: Teamwork

Activity:We can ask the prefects to write how they think they can improve our school achievements, we ask the whole group who’s idea is the most suitable and tell one of the students/ teachers in charge the improvement idea and ask all the student leaders wether this is a fair vote with prizes for contributions of stickers.

Activity 1: For Objective 1 (e.g., Team Building)

Activity Name: Trust Fall Exercise

Skills Development:
This activity helps participants build trust, improve communication, and enhance teamwork. Participants must rely on their group members to catch them, fostering mutual trust and a sense of support within the team.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Set up a designated area with soft padding on the ground.

2. Divide participants into pairs. One will be the "falling" person, and the other will be the "catcher."

3. The falling participant will stand with their back to the catcher, with their arms crossed over their chest.

4. The falling participant will fall backward while the catcher prepares to catch them.

5. The activity is repeated for each participant, with the roles switching after each turn.

Icebreaker Game: Two Truths and a Lie

Objective:
This game helps participants learn fun facts about each other and sparks conversation in a relaxed and informal setting.

Skills Development:

• Encourages communication and active listening.

• Helps participants practice storytelling and sharing personal details in a lighthearted way.

• Fosters connections and laughter to build group cohesion.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Have all participants sit in a circle or stand in a comfortable space where everyone can see each other.

2. Each participant takes turns sharing three statements about themselves—two truths and one lie. The lie should be something believable to make the game more challenging.

3. The rest of the group will guess which statement is the lie.

4. Once everyone has guessed, the person reveals which statement was the lie.

5. Continue until everyone has had a turn to share.

Required Materials:

• None! Just a group of people ready to have some fun.

Tip:
You can encourage creativity by having a theme for the truths and lies (e.g., travel experiences, childhood memories, etc.), or keep it open-ended for more variety.

Icebreaker Game: Human Knot

Objective:
This game encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and communication as participants work together to untangle themselves. It also helps break the ice and get people laughing!

Skills Development:

• Enhances teamwork and collaboration.

• Promotes problem-solving and creative thinking.

• Builds trust and communication skills in a fun, physical way.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Have everyone stand in a circle, shoulder to shoulder.

2. Instruct each person to extend their right hand and grab someone else’s right hand across the circle. Then, have everyone extend their left hand and grab a different person’s left hand (it cannot be the same person as their right hand).

3. The group now has to work together to untangle the human knot by communicating, moving around, and passing hands without letting go.

4. The goal is to untangle the knot and form a circle again without anyone breaking their grip.

5. If needed, you can give the group hints or pause to help them when they get stuck.

Required Materials:

• None! Just space for everyone to stand in a circle.

Tip:
If the group gets too large, you can split them into smaller groups to make the game more manageable.

"Group Juggle"

Objective: Work together to keep a series of objects in the air by tossing them around the circle, building teamwork and communication skills.

How to play:

Group size: This works best for 6-15 participants.

Setup: Have the group stand in a circle.

1. Game play:

   • Start with one soft object (e.g., a small ball, beanbag, or even a rolled-up sock) in the middle of the circle.

   • The goal is to toss the object around the circle, with each participant catching and immediately tossing it to someone else. It must go around the entire circle at least once before adding more objects.

   Challenge:

   • Gradually add more objects (one at a time) into the circle as the group gets comfortable. They need to keep all objects in the air without dropping them.

   • The group must communicate to ensure everyone knows who is tossing to whom, ensuring no one is left out.

2. Time limit: This activity can last up to 10 minutes.

3. Material needed:6 soft ball, 4 bean bag

Jeron and Adit

Ask very group to discuss among themselves about driving school improvement and they will need to write in on a piece of A4 paper.After that, the head and vice head prefects will read it out and discuss it with the school.

Materials: A4 paper

Procedure: prefects will walk around the school and relive their memory about problems that they have witnesses in the past (for 5mins).Then,take a a4 paper and ask everyone to write a problem that they have witnesses in school before.Finally pass the paper to exco in charge and discuss ways to solve the problem.At the end pass the paper to head prefectmor vice head prefect.

this activity will help the participants know more about each other.

firstly everyone will look at their names, whoevers names first letter is the most in front,will go and share their name and hobby.

Activity name: Explain it!

How to play:

1. This game is like a competition, groups would go against each other.

2. After deciding which group will each group go against, prefects are to give each group that are going against each other a number.( The game will go by according to these numbers given)

3. The first group will then have to pick a group member to go up for that round only (Each member must go up at least once, with a different member each time)

4. The member chosen will receive a habit/ good characteristic. The member chosen will also receive a list of "forbidden words" .This list will be passed around, for each group to remember them, so they can check if the opposing team accidentally says the word( The list will be passed to all groups expect the group whose turn it is.)

5. The group member chosen will then have to explain this habit/good characteristic without using these "forbidden words".

6. The group members will have a time limit to guess the habit/good characteristic.

7. Whenever a group manages to guess the habit/good characteristic, they earn a point.

8. Each group will take turns to explain and guess and possibly earn points.

Activity: Gather the group and ask them to form a circle. Each student leader to extend their right hand across the circle and grabs someone else’s hand.

Then, they extend their left hand and grab a different person’s hand (so each person is holding hands with two others).

The goal: The group must untangle themselves to form a circle again, without letting go of each other’s hands.

They can move around, step over or under each other, but they can’t break the hand-holding chain.

Try the activity twice, once when no communication is allowed, and another when communication is.

Activity: Student leaders to write their observations and suggestions on solutions on a piece of paper. Then, they are to drop the piece of paper in a “suggestions box” prepared beforehand.

EXCO prefects will discuss and decide on the best courses of action.

Driving School Improvement activity: School solution Scavenger Hunt

Game: We will get the student leaders to get into groups. They will be given a clue to find a location in school. (e.g. Library, MPC) They will have to observe the location and will take down some points such as "what works well here, what could be improved, ideas for low-cost, high-impact solutions." They will then submit the group's suggestion.

Materials needed: Paper of clues that lead to places around the school.

Time Limit: 30 minutes

Leadership activity: Silent line-up

Game: Without talking, student leaders must line up in a certain order (e.g., birthday, height, shoe size). Students are only allowed to use gestures and are not allowed to talk until the line is completed. After, the EXCO prefects will make sure if they have succeeded or not.

Time limit: 30 minutes (more than 1 round)

Relationships activity: Blind puzzle

Game: Student leaders will be given a simple puzzle that is needed to solve. Students will chose one member to be blindfolded. While that blindfolded student has to be the one to solve the puzzle, the other students will be the one to tell him/her where to place the puzzle using only verbal directions.

Materials needed: Simple puzzles, blindfold.

Time limit: 45 minutes

Ice-breaker activity: Lip-syncing facts

Game: Student leaders will be divided into pairs. Each student will take turn to mouth a fact about themself that not everyone knows. The other student will then try to identify what was the sentence being said. They will take turns being the and introducing player and guessing player.

Time Limit: 15 minutes (as many rounds as possible)
