Yes. If politics is involved, it is important for the people to gain respect for the person, eg: a presidential election.

The people should respect the group they want to vote for as voting for the group without any respect would mean they would have to live under their control

for the next few years and this may cause riots in the future which means a more chaotic world.

If the group is respected, even if they make a minor mistake, the people might just let the thought of it go.

This could lead him to imitate the actions of this criminal which makes the world a less safer place
