Last summer, I went to New York. I had so much fun ! We had to wake up early to take the plane. At the airport, people were in a hurry, it was nerve wracking. My mom was really nervous. Eventually, we got on the plane without any trouble. What a relief ! The flight was 8 hours long so I slept the first few hours. Then a flight attendant woke me up so that I could eat. We could choose between pizza and burgers. When we arrived, it was super hot and we were all sweating a lot. A taxi came to pick us up and drove us to the hotel. The taxi man was really nice ! The first few days were awful. It was pouring outside and we had a hard time returning to the hotel. Thankfully my dad found a bakery where we could wait for the rain to stop. Apart from that, we had a great time there. We visited so many places and tasted so much delicious food/so many yummy local dishes. Such a great experience, I would definitely recommend it.
