This picture represents the role of plants in society and in the environment in many ways. Here you see YouTube's Mr Beast and crew planting 20 million trees with all of their followers. It is in no way an easy feat to bring people together to cooperate to accomplish this goals. obviously, this is a great example of how important it is that we need to replenish the trees we have taken to restore balance in the world. These trees that were planted help the environment reestablish its natural ecosystem that was taken away by humans. This is my interpretation of plants importance in society and the environment in one photo, thank you.

The reason I chose this video because it is hands down the best musical study material I have ever used. Heath Cottengim successfully describes every intricate detail of photosynthesis while also laying down some sick rhymes. I am a singer and musician , so getting something catchy stuck in my head is easy, which helps when taking the test. I think everyone should see this video, maybe you would be interested in sharing it with the class.

I believe the Grasslands biome is the most endangered. Due to poor agricultural practices, mono-cropping, toxic pesticides, overgrazing, and invasive species the Grasslands are slowly deteriorating. There are ways to fight against such destruction. Educational efforts allow people to become more aware of the devastating consequences of improper farming. Also, planting appropriate trees for the area, and protecting and restoring the wetlands which directly affects the grasslands ecology.
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/habitats/grassland-threats/

This diagram is a great review for remembering the changes which took place during the Neolithic Revolution. More specifically, it describes the impact of plant domestication on human life. One aspect of change is the development of social stratification. During this time, the egalitarian ways of the hunter/Forager dissipated, wealthy elites emerged, caste and class systems developed, hierarchies formed, and patriarchy dominated.

Hybrid seed selection, as well as the use of fertilizers and diesel machines became major staples of the revolution. Also, changes in distribution systems and land reforms impacted agriculture during this time.

I believe Aspirin had the largest , positive influence out of all the chemicals derived from plants. White Willow bark is the original source of Acetylsalicylic Acid, and changed history forever. In 1838, Raffaele Piria synthesized a stronger form of Willow bark creating the compound mentioned above. This was one of the first medicines we were able to learn how to produced on our own. This happened during the major shift in science from vitalism to experimentation into organic chemistry. This changed science in a dramatic way, opening doors to many other discovers today.

I believe this would be reality if environmental, economic, social, and agricultural practices go unchecked. Desertification would ruin our earth, industrial production facilities would contaminate our water, and we would have no clean air. The regulations put in place to protect our home help to mitigate further destruction, without them this would be our world. It is quite possible this could be our world if we do not change the practices we use today.
