Take a 360 Image

This is the most straightforward way to capture a full 360-degree image. There are many 360° cameras available on the market, ranging from affordable consumer models to high-end professional options. ThingLink recommends using a camera that can create an image with a 2:1 pixel aspect ratio and a resolution below 8192 x 4096 pixels.

Take a Panorama Image

Many smartphones have a built-in panoramic mode that can capture a wide field of view. While this won't be a perfect 360 image, it can be a good option for creating a basic immersive experience. ThingLink has a handy tool that can convert a panoramic image you take on your phone into a full 360° image. You can upload your panorama to their PanoTo360 converter tool.
