I would recommend the Berlin Boxing Club to any readers who like historical fiction books with a great story. This book is filled with words of the wiser signposts that readers will enjoy. One example of a words of the wiser on page 111 is "A lot of people will tell you that the first thing you have to learn is how to take a punch. But I believe the first thing you should know is that you can take one and survive." This is Max giving Karl his first lesson. My dad would definitely love this book and I recommend it to him.
- Nick Palmer

The Nazis keep making new laws to torture the Jews and make their lives worse. One example is when Karl's school expelled all Jewish students just because of their religion. This picture represents this signpost because the Nazis started restricting certain restaurants and public places from the Jews. This is an important again and again signpost in the book. -Nick Palmer

During this conflict between the Nazis and the Jews there was a very important person who saved around 10,000 Jews from Nazi Germany. Frank Foley was a British secret agent who played the role of passport control officer and he illegally stamped many Jews' passports so that they could escape. He even hid Jews in his house to help them when he could have been arrested at any time for doing this. -Nick Palmer
