Prior to the release of Legend's debut album, his career gained momentum through a series of collaborations with several renowned artists. At various points in his career, Legend has collaborated on such singles as "Getting Nowhere" by Magnetic Man, "All the Lights" by Kanye West in "This Way" by Slow Village. In addition to participating in Jay Z's "Encore", in the Alicia Keys song chorus, "You Do not Know My Name", Kanye West's remix of Britney Spears' song "Me Against the Music" and "High Road" of Fort Minor. Legend played the piano on "Everything Is Everything" by Lauryn Hill. For his solo work, he won a "Number 1" Billboard Hot 100 with "All of Me" in 2013.
