Noise pollution in Fahaheel

What is noise pollution? If I had to define that I would say it’s being subjected to high sound levels that can cause negative effects on humans and living creatures. It can be dangerous if it’s not taken seriously for example it can lead to high blood pressure and headaches. Another one It can be risky for children to adults as they are exposed to loud noise as the result of that is hearing loss. Also, being around loud noises frequently causes anxiety, stress, fatigue, and sleep deprivation. Another more, it can cause a lack of communication which is the key to communicate and converse with people and We don’t want that to happen. We can’t deny that in Kuwait there is no pollution but in fact, Kuwait has a lot of areas that have pollution for example Fahaheel. When you think of fahaheel all that comes to mind are malls, restaurants, sea, and carnivals but little did you know is that place is exposed to noise pollution as the city is thriving and evolving every day. if you looked closely you can see that there are many construction sites and some of the people who work there don’t conceal their ears. Besides, traffic jams, factories, and garages cause several noises that can harm and damage the ears. In the end, I want to share this topic and place with everyone so we can raise awareness as some people don’t consider this as a serious problem. I Advise people to be cautious and careful of places that have noise pollution, we don’t want people to lose their health for this reason.

Soil pollution in Kabad

The radio transmitter station in Kabad was chosen because it contains a large amount of soil contamination due to oil spills, various industrial activities, and solid waste leakage into the soil. In general, the term ‘soil pollution’ refers to the accumulation of some substances, such as toxic compounds, salts, chemicals, and all pathogenic factors in the soil. These substances negatively affect both the growth of plants and the health of animals and humans. The reason behind existence of such pollutants in the soil is the human activities. They can be formed naturally such as the accumulation of mineral elements in the soil in large concentrations. The soil pollution in Kabd transmitter station is worth to be discussed as the soil loses many physical and chemical properties. Accordingly, many people don’t know about the radio transmitter station in Kabd and the soil pollution there. Therefore, it is important for people to know about such place in order to protect it.

John Kuwait is one of the most beautiful environmental landmarks in Kuwait. It includes many marine organisms such as fish of all kinds and shrimp, due to the Calm ocean currents in it and the abundance of oxygen and light. It is a place visited by more than 200 species of migratory birds annually. But Unfortunately, in recent years, John Kuwait has become one of the places that suffer from water pollution, and which has caused the killing of many marine organisms This is due to the dumping of sewage waste into the sea, throwing garbage into the sea and Oil leak. I advise everyone to visit john Kuwait because it has a great view and they can see a wonderful birds such us seagulls .In the end, John Kuwait is considered one of the economically and environmentally important places for Kuwait, and therefore the Environmental Authority in Kuwait makes great efforts to protect John Kuwait from pollution.

In the world, we are suffering from a lot of problems but one of the problems that We face is pollution. It’s an environmental issue that cause harm to the mother nature and to the one who initiated it that is mankind. We chose pollution as a theme for our project for many reasons. Firstly, the earth that living creatures live in is becoming more polluted than it was in the past years. Secondly, pollution can develop many problems such as, global warming, animals losing their habitat and new different diseases that may be infectious or deadly to all kind of living beings. Thirdly, we want to raise awareness to people so we can save the earth before it’s too late and find solutions. In Kuwait, there are many areas that has types of pollution for example, John Kuwait which has the most colorful coral reefs and fish has water pollution. In addition, Kuwait City which is the capital of Kuwait face light pollution. Furthermore, the ground that is under the radio transmitter station in Kabad and around it contains soil pollution after the Gulf war. Moreover, Fahaheel the city of tourists’ experiences noise pollution. Besides, Al-Rehiya area produces air pollution.

Air pollution in Rehiyeh area

Our project theme is pollution. Air pollution is closely related to this topic because the place contains tires made of chemicals that are dangerous when burning. I focus on air pollution in the Rahia district of Al-Jahra Governorate. One shocking fact about this place is that it's the largest tire cemetery in the world. Another disappointing fact about the region is that there are over 12 million damaged tires stacked that are negatively affecting the environment. I picked this venue for two main reasons. First, the place is so large that we can see it from satellite imagery. Second, The Kuwaiti government has been suffering from this crisis for nearly ten years. I am promoting this place because some citizens are ignorant of information about this area and its danger to humans, especially in the respiratory system.
