10 HE Student Internship posts have been advertised.  These are in the following areas Recruitment (5), Social and Digital Communications (2) and Quality Assurance and Engagement (3).  Shortlisting has taken place and interviews are scheduled to take place Friday 6 March.  Each intern will have a 150 hour contract over a 5 month period.

It is anticipated that this will be continued for 2015-2016 with additional interns focussing on Scholarship and employability

HE Scholarship Internship - Bisocience and Sport - Appointment of first HE student internship (Andy Hensby).  Andy will co-ordinate, under the supervision of Dr Dan Peart, a research study into the effects of coconut water on athletic performance. 

HE in Context day (6 February 2015)

The session focussed on the following themes: enquiry/application process; student representation, employability and the Student Den.  Very good level of engagement from all those in attendance.

The next HE in Context day is scheduled for Friday 27 March, 10.00 - 14.00

Focus of the session will be module evaluations, pre-entry support for new students

National Student Survey 2015

The NSS is now open and will remain open until 30 April 2015.  We are targeting a 90% response rate (currently 15%).  Please could all reps promote NSS to all eligible students (those in their final year of studies)
