         <description><![CDATA[<div>For some the 1920s seemed to roar like the war veterans. They got job opportunities and a one and only pension plan. For the farmers the 1920s didn't roar as they felt that the federal government didn't accompany to their needs.</div>]]></description>

The 1920s were especially good for people who were rich, white and young as they could benefit from the new inventions. New families blossomed during this decade as well</div>]]></description>

         <title>The 1920’s did not roar for everyone. Farmers were suffering due to a collapse in the wheat market. Women were still not equal to men at this time, resulting in unfair wages and jobs. French Canadians were still fighting for equal rights and often found themselves being treated as second class citizens.-Nikita</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I believe that the 1920s did not roar for the following reasons:&nbsp;</div><div>1. There was apparent racism, people of non-Caucasian cultures felt excluded.&nbsp;</div><div>2. The economy/stock market crashed, people were losing jobs and money very quickly. Things became very expensive to purchase.<br>3. They were still recovering from the war and all of its damages.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>No, the 1920's did not roar for most people. Firstly, you must have had a well-known family background originating from Europe. Your parents would have gone through university and got a professional job, therefore having money to keep you in school. Secondly, only if you have a good job with lots of money, then could you afford new  technological products. The stock market was dominated by people from Upper Middle and High Class in Urban areas, so  others had a hard chance in making money. Lastly, equality and unity was not among the people.</div>]]></description>

Secondly, there was a large labour strike so the workers could have better wages and working conditions. Lastly, farmers and fisheries were going deep into debt because there was no longer such a high demand for their products.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>No, the 20's did not roar for the people in the lower class because most of the inventions were expensive and could not be afforded by people like factory workers and farmers.  Automobiles were not affordable to lower class people and the stock market crash in 1929 made it harder for the people that were already struggling financially. As well as the Cape Breton labour wars of the early 20's made it hard for people to find jobs.</div>]]></description>
