1 action I am already taking is to try to ensure I conference with all students over the course of the week. I will make a more formal name list with notes for data collection.
 
I am wondering how I can improve my conferencing, maybe by having some notes in my hands, to refer to. Or is it better to have it on the wall? So it is a reference to everyone in the class?

Looking at the assessment data, I really to need to make a plan for how I can best support my students in developing their emergent Literacy skills. We've spent a lot of work on their writing behaviors and this continues to be a focus. A couple of smaller shifts after the break is to introduce and have available lined paper, and to remove the colored markers - have pencils or black lined markers available.
