Kanye west has influenced me and my music by exposing me to the world of music production Kanye began his musical career as a producer for other rappers. Kanye begins by sampling old soul music and transforming it into 2000s hip hop. One of the biggest instances of this would be his song Through the Wire, in which he sampled Chaka Khan through the fire. This type of sampling led Kanye West to sign his first record deal with Jay-Z's record label, Roc A Falla Records, after producing half of Jay-Z's fourth studio album, The Blue Print. he had personally influenced my music by exposing me to certain production techniques, such as sampling old music, which i want to do with old Middle Eastern and North African songs. he had also influenced me by showing that it is possible to make a wide range of music and still be successful.
