Women have always struggled while fighting for their inalienable rights. Women were forced to work during the early 1940's due to the World War and some enjoyed being allowed to work and wanted to continue working after the war. They were working important roles during the war and than when it was over they were forced back into more "women-like roles". This time period showed women were capable of being and doing more than traditional roles. Ambition for equality; equal pay, equal education, equal rights was a major cause in the push for women's rights. The fight to choose about their own contraception led to frustration within the country, ultimately leading to huge changes in the right direction regarding women's rights.

Women have been given the opportunities to hold a job, vote, and have equal rights; it was not an easy road to get to this point. Even with all these improvements women are still working towards creating less sexism within our culture and work places, as well as achieving proper reproductive rights. It is only through the continued use of affirmative action that changes in policy will create better live for our female citizens. It is because of women from the 1940 to 1975 that women today are able to freely express their opinions and have them be heard.

Women went to work during the early 1940's due to World War Two and some enjoyed being allowed to work and wanted to continue working after the war.

Since the 1940's there has been a a lot of change in the women's right's movement. Women started this movement because they were tired of the discrimination for wanting to work, they didn't want to stay at home and care for the kids, and they wanted the same right's as men/ wanted to be treated equal. This is a very important part of modern american democracy due to women becoming an equal member in society. Their voting opinions are the most important of all the rights gained.

In the mid to late twentieth century there was an awakening regarding Women's Rights. With WWII underway, there was a sudden need for women to fill the shoes of men. The only issue was that they were put under incredible stress and grueling work hours with very little pay. They were called upon to work long hours in factories and businesses with little breaks and little to no food. With these conditions having no signs of improving, the working women grew tired, and decided enough was enough. Unfair hours, little pay, and little respect were a few of the major catalysts for the rise of women's rights movements between 1940 and 1975.

As our society has taught us that men are superior in strength, wisdom, and intellect men have always seen women as less than us. But, that was not that case as women stared to realize their importance in not only the workplace but also in social issues. But once women got the right to vote in the 1920`s they were seen more as our equal and they took that idea and ran with it to support truly equal rights for women.

From the beginning of time, Women have been seen as inferior to men and have had no control over any aspects of their lives. This can be seen in the fact that, until 1920, women had no say whatsoever in the making of the legislation that governed them. Without the right to vote, women were represented by men who, in most cases, did not have their best interests at heart. However, this all changed as a women began to realize their self worth and advocated for their rights. This women's rights movement, also known as feminism, rose due to the unfair wage discrimination women faced, the lack of control they had over their body and the oppression women faced in the hierarchical system in which they lived in.

women have always been nonequivalent and divergent from others. Its been a very long and unpleasant roller coaster for them through out past history. they have always been mistreated. in the early 1940s women were so determined in trying to gain whatever rights they could get, especially after the check point of allowing them to vote. many reasons contributed to the womens movement such as sexism to as basic as unequal rights and being mistreated. the movement lasted about 30 years.

In 1920, after women pushed for equality, Congress passed the 19th amendment, which allowed women the right to vote. About 20 years later, from 1940-1975, women pushed for more equality in all aspects, such as, jobs that involved greater physical strain and still getting paid less then men, the caste system, and discrimination.

Equal rights for women have been a continuous struggle throughout history. During 1940-1975 the women's rights movement soon became a fight for equality against men. Regardless of skill, lower rates and wages were given to women workers in every industry and were held back from full participation because people believed men were more capable of the job. Women were seen as inferior to men and treated unfairly based on their sex. Problems with wage discrimination, strong tendencies of sexism and the unfair treatment involving the caste system have essentially caused the rise of a women's rights movement.
But with this rise, came a direct message for change in American society; a change that established equal rights for women.

The path to gaining equal rights for women has been perpetual. Women took a great leap for rights in 1940-1975, this is when their ideals began growing into a major development and women began making more advancements in rights. Women built up progress by taking increasing action in the workplace. They began by taking over jobs when men had to leave for war, they sparked protests, and united together.

Through the 19th century, women weren't though nearly as high as men were. this created many problems throughout the 19th century especially around the time of WWll. During the war there was a very high demand for women as the husbands, brothers, and fathers, were off fighting. Women were often found in factories and big plants during this time, as they produced war supplies for the men that were off fighting; working long hard hours with little to no breaks, for very little pay. Often times women would be worked so hard, that they would sometimes collapse right at their machine. Women began to see what was occurring around them and decided to realize their worth and rose up against society and protested and advocated that they were just as worthy as of the men that were off fighting.
