As Rikki was chaseing after her, she was going into her old hole where she and Nag lived before they had eggs. She was doing everything that she could to protect her child. As Rikki was diving in after her, Darzee was singing to morn for Rikki. after a long silence Rikki came out with a snake in his mouth Nagina was dead. This influenced the story by there was no more snakes in the garden. The effect it put on the story is that Teddy takes Rikki to his home and he becomes good friends with Teddy. Eventually Teddy's parents let Rikki stay with them. They plan to kill the humans. Nag went into the bathroom and waited for the humans to come so that he could kill them Rikki was eaves droping and being as silet as possible. After he knew that Nag was asleep and Naginia was gone he made his move gripping Nag by the head and squeezing really hard. He let go, and Nag was dead. The way this influences the story is that Nag gets killed which, later made Nagina mad. Which made Nagina want to kill whoever killed her husband.
