the journey of the person in need through the system is really fragmented, most vulnearable are left to keep looking, there are gaps and duplication

my role, my bit - third sector hub is useful for making referrals, they can pick up a conversations, everywhere needs a hub a one stop shop

if you are new there is a lot of initiatives it is very confusing to know where to go and whom to choose, multiple hubs could be sharing assets and information , linking is important

the language around it is confusing ' HUB' is a term that is often used so you don't know what it really does and offer

funding - competitive, hesitancy to engage, larger organisations have an advantage

making sure small and big organisation and small organisations recognize each other, how they rely on each other, the partnership meetings costs and time needs to be recognised, funders need to think about that, partnership funding needs to also support the partnership and collaboration ( full cost recovery)

during covid there was great collaboration, lots of collaborative bids, - shows it is possible but fudning was supporting this, people can focus on their speciality and support each other rather than perceive each other as competition
