Even though I'm 11 hours away from my family, I am able to watch their sporting events virtually and cheer them on from a distance. (He wears funky sox, usually BRIGHT, so I know which one he is on the court/field)

I'm thankful for this kiddo. We thought he had a pulled muscle...turned out to be a bigger issue that would require surgery (that same day). We thought 1 surgery and 3 month recovery, but turned into a total of 4 hip surgeries in 3 months and a full year of recovery. Big mental hit. But we were excited to see him on the field again this weekend. Not yet “game ready,” but found a way to get involved in the beautiful game again.

My Body

Very thankful for my body and all that it can do. From my brain, which runs a million miles an hour, sometimes with very little rest, to my feet and how they can get me from point A to B. Our bodies are magnificent! The GIF is a representation of my brain :D!

Region 10's faciilties are a notch above the rest. Nowhere else have I seen such beautiful and intentionally designed spaces for PD. I'm super grateful to Bruno and team for maintaining them and making it a safe place to work.

So thankful that I got to see my kids and friends do their thing while competing for 4A State Marching Champion. One was with me doing props, and the other was on the field. There were many tears from this proud Mom when they announced Celina as the State champions for the second year in a row. (also excited for the other two Region 10 schools of Panther Creek Frisco, and Anna which won second and third).

I'm so thankful for my sweet team for helping me out and being so thoughtful and understanding after my injury. I'm blessed to work with such wonderful humans. :-)

I am so thankful for everything in this thing called "life". I am able to wake up every day in my home and go to a job that I absolutely love. I have a healthy son and grandson. My family is a little eccentric :) but they are always there.

I am thankful for my creative gifts and talents that help others.
