Limitations:

1. Lack of continued interest among youth volunteers due to limited incentives

2. Lack of any credit or academic incentives that students should get

3. Volunteers rarely see volunteering as a learning opportunity due to a lack of specific learning outcomes they can get from the opportunity

4. Encouragement from the institutions and communities to promote volunteering from school to youth recently joining the workforce is missing

5. Need to enhance reach and impact of volunteering in tier-2 and 3 towns and cities, this is also missing right now

For the Leadership consulting vertical that is a for Profit & runs efficiently with a team which specializes in that.

The major challenge currently is making sure the opportunities are accessible to volunteers and promoting the same through other digital sources

Exploring MeriLife & other tech tools for documenting & bringing the community in one platform.

Limitation: I think Whatsapp is working fine for us but maintaining Google Sheets is cumbersome & overwhelming to read for multiple projects & their summary. We spend a lot of time in consolidating data manually as we haven't used any automated tech yet

Limitations would be access to these and more resources required for the target groups.

Implementation: Through volunteers, volunteer leaders, Fellows, interns, full-timers, and consultants

System/Technology: Bhumi volunteer management system- a centralized system for tracking volunteer registration and induction. event and impact details are captured. Also for volunteer leadership process & expense management.

Validation & Rewards:

1) Event level certificates are sent automatically after event closure

2) Caught-ya cards: to promote on spot recognition of volunteers efforts

3) Quarterly awards: for volunteers who are contributions stand out from the rest in a particular quarter

the validations are all data backup and most of the citations are reviewed by respective volunteer leaders and full-timers; we have a vol hr team who over-see the effective operations of the entire awards and recognition process and a awards commitee who focuses on validation and maintaining the quality of awards

Limitations:

1. Saturation of opportunities - (e.g. - Fundraising, Social Media, etc.). Not motivating enough for volunteers

2. NGO partners are unable to recruit volunteers till the final stage.

3. Optimised communication system that enable NGO partners and Volunteers to connect and complete the volunteering opportunity.

We are planning a Decoding SDGs series as part of this Satat Samudaya engagement which will help 30 Youth championing SDGs & think about Green Careers through this (Can collaborate with YUWAAH / UNICEF)

We will run a community of 120+ people per Year who will experience a behavioral shift after the program.

For getting us these passionate 120 people we plan on doing our Awareness series called "Samwaads" to spread awareness to as many people as possible.

Limitations in Scaling :

• We are pursuing Funding right now to grow the team to scale

• Youth Focused designs are not structured yet. hopefully we will do it by the end of this cohort.

Last year alone we engaged around 1lakh volunteers and we aim to 10x this number by then.

Limitation:

1) Contacts of Institutions (colleges/universities) across the country

2) Resources (both human & fundings)

3) Volunteer leaders grooming, identification and retention

4) Devising a rewards/recognition system that will attract the Gen-z & Gen-Alpha's (who will be volunteers by that time)

Data is not organised, needs a lot of coordination

Would be moving to CRM to manage school, outreach & Volunteer data

Coordination with nss volunteers, faculty, community leaders& goverment officials to ensure effective participation impact.

We are regularly motivating to the nss volunteers towards indias social development.
