The first video I chose was Thomas Frank's video of 20 Useful Websites Every Student Should Know About - College Info Geek. I clicked on this video because I don't think I had any websites that I relied on other than Desmos if my calculator was charging. However, after listening to the video I realized that I use some of these important tools, such as Google Calendar and Google Tasks. One website From the video I found interesting was Trello.com. Trello.com is designed to help manage group projects. However, I am considering using this website to help keep track of my homework and assignments because it seems easier to manage than Google Calendar. One website I did not expect to be recommended was the school's website which is something I have not considered looking through for help. Overall, most websites help you find and do little things faster than normal, witch when using more then one can help get your work done mutch faster.

The second video I chose was Thomas Franks's episode, Online Classes: A Survival Guide. The main reason I clicked on the video is that I am taking an online class. However, the main reason I chose to wright about the video is because it states the obvious that I overlooked. The first part of the video talks about how students should respect their online classes with the same respect as their in-person classes, something I have not done. The second part of the video talks about how you should take your calendar and to-do lists seriously. Before listening to this part of the video I felt that it would be too much work to have to set up a reminder for each assignment that I am assigned. However, after hearing it from Thomas Frank I think I could also set the reminders to go off every day before the due date so I can't forget about any assignments. In the last three parts of the video I have already done, I organized all of my online work in STAE, and I broke up my day and dealt with isolation by running and doing afterschool activities.

The third video I chose was Thomas Frank's How to Work with INTENSE Focus - 3 Steps Most People Skip. I clicked on this video because I was searching for a video that I could write about not on the playlist and kept getting distracted by the things around me until I saw this video. The video has three steps, 1 is the five-minute prep, 2 is Diffuse mode thinking, and 3 is the Pomodoro technique. The five-minute prep helps you clearly state what steps you are going to take to achieve your goal. The diffuse mode thinking step is there to make sure your mind is in its most productive state so you can be at your best while you work. The Pomodoro Technique is where you set a timer and work until that timer goes off, getting rid of the feeling you have to complete the assignment as a whole, and instead doing fifteen minutes at a time. I will consider using these three steps in order to help me focus better, however, I would probably feel too stressed about the timing myself with so little time to work at one time.
