This video discusses the classic movie from George A. Romero "Night of the Living Dead, which was inspired by another classic movie "I am Legend".
"Night of the Living Dead" is considered one of the first real zombie movies. The video also talked about The Walking Dead, and how it was pitched to sponsors as being like “all those zombie movies with people surviving in this zombie apocalypse world” but it “never ends”.
The narrator also talks about how to control fear, which he explains very quickly. I wish he had spent more time discussing this in more details, as it seems really interesting.
This video being from Fox News was a red flag to me right off the bat, as they aren't exactly the prime place for unbiased news. They use a lot of ancient wisdom and red herring in many of their stories to distract from what they are supposed to be talking about. They also can use simplicity to justify their points in order to avoid doing farther research or studies.

They also do a quick synopsis into how zombies are ingrained into our culture. This video seems to use a lot of ancient wisdom to justify their points, as well as mystical energy. It also uses the explained reason for belief, as there isn't any solid proof of what they're saying. They also speak very rapidly, to make it sound like they know what they're talking about more than they probably do.

Post #4: The Real Story Behind the Myth of Zombies - TheTalko

This video's main story really captured me, so I'm sorry this post will be a bit longer. The story is of Clairvius Narcisse, a man who fell sick and died, but it was later discovered a Voodoo priest gave him a substance that mimicked death in humans. The priest then continued giving Clairvius drugs that kept him in a zombified trace for nearly 2 decades as he was used as a slave.
This story uses ancient wisdom and confirmation bias, as well as mystical energy. I sense a bit of suppression by authority hiding in the tones of this narrators voice, hinting that this main story was hidden from the world by authoritative figures trying to keep it a secret. The story of Clairvius uses emotional connection because his sister finds him 20 years after he was presumed dead. Ideology may be grouped in here as well, because it mentions how living a life of sin can cause you to be a zombie in the afterlife, which links to religious beliefs.

This post explains Coup Padre, which is the drug used to make humans appear dead when they are not. Victims of what some assume to be zombie attacks appear to have human teeth marks on their bones. Some suggest it could be cannibals, but cannibals prepare their meals with knives and other sharp tools, so this theory does not add up.
This article seems to use simplicity to explain its points, as well as ancient wisdom to back up what they're saying.

This explains zombies in the Stone Age, where human remains were found with bashed in skulls and decapitated from the original body.

The Greeks would incinerate, dismember, or restrain a dead person within their grave, to ensure they had no chance of escaping if they were reanimated. This stemmed from the Greeks belief that those who committed suicide, got murdered, or were “illegitimate children” would be likely to rise from the dead. Others that were clumped into this group included babies born on an unlucky day or born with congenital defects, as well as people who died from drowning, being cursed, or from the plague.

Confusion of correlation with causation may be applied here because of the assumptions made by the Greeks. Mystical energy is being used to explain how the dead are rising up from their graves.

This photo is of a classic scene from "Night of the Living Dead" (1968), a movie directed by George A. Romero. This was one of the first big zombie movies to become popular, and it inspired many decades of undead movies to follow.
This photo could convince someone who believes in zombies that the apocalypse is starting, as it looks very real. This is confirmation bias.

This still is from Michael Jackson's iconic music video for his song "Thriller". In this video, Michael himself becomes a member of the undead and dances around a graveyard with fellow zombies. This, of course, is very different from most zombie stories, but it does have many elements taken from classic zombie lore.
This has very strong emotional connection, as many people loved Michael Jackson and his music. Appeal to Authority can also be considered, as Michael was a huge superstar.

This picture shows a relatively detailed plan on what to do if a zombie outbreak happens. This shows that humans have started to prepare in case the dead begin to rise from their graves, and we have detailed plans of what to do if it happens. I have friends myself that know exactly where they want to go and what they will do the second zombies try to take over. They have planned their teams, their weapons of choice, where to stock up on items, etc.
This photo links strongly with ideology, as religious and other views may influence your beliefs on zombies or other similar events. Perception and observation is also possible, as many people get their ideas for preparing for the zombie apocalypse from movies, tv shows, and video games where humans are actually fighting off undead armies.
