All guns were a big role in WW2 from attacking to defense they were big like artillery to as a small 9mm lipstick gun for spy's to a AA gun (anti-air) 45cal. were used to eliminat enemy's to concer the area and to defend that area. you have a sub machine gun a small but high fire rate a machine gun is like a rifle but automatic rifles are simiauto so as fast you can pull the trigger it fires snipers a one shot reload but far distance accuracy. Now the artillery a big gun that were used to take out areas far away with a big bullet like a 100mm gun or a 75mm. Their are even gun desiend to take out tank.
