한국에 커플을 위한 날이 많이 있다. 하지만 미국에서 발렌타인 데이는 커플들에게 바치는 유일한 날이다. 한국 커플들은 무엇이든지 (G12.4) 함께 축하할 것 같다.

한국에 커플들이 서로 어울리는 같은 옷을 입는다. 이것은 커플룩이라고 불린다. 미국의 커플들은 보통 "커플룩"을 입지 않는다. 커플들은 애정의 표시로 커플룩을 입는다. 나는 남자친구와 커플룩을 입으려다가 (G12.3) 당황한다.

한국에는 커플들이 함께 하는 인스타그램이 있다. 커플이 함께 사진을 찍으면 찍을수록 (G13.2) 더 좋다. 미국에서는 보통 커플들이 인스타그램을 공유하지 않는다. 미국 커플들은 함께 사진 찍는 것을 좋아하지 않는가 본다 (G11.1). 사실 난 이것에 대해 잘 모르겠다.

한국에서는 어떤 커플들은 세 번의 데이트 후에 커플이 된다고 한다. 이것은 배우는데 매우 놀라웠다. 미국에서, 사람들은 많은 데이트 후에 커플이 된다. 한국에서는 커플이 기념된다. 미국 커플들은 많은 날을 함께 축하지 않기는 안는데 (G11.2), 그래도 미국에서는 아직도 데이트가 중요하다. 

I'm going to talk about dating culture. There are many differences between dating culture in the U.S. and dating culture in Korea.

There are many holidays dedicated to couples in Korea. But Valentine's Day is the only holiday devoted to couples in the United States. It seems like Korean couples will celebrate anything together (G12.4).

In Korea, couples wear the same clothes that match each other. This is called a couple look. Couples in the United States usually don't wear "couple looks." I was going to wear a couple look with my boyfriend, but I got embarrassed (G12.3). Couples wear couple looks as a sign of affection.

In Korea, couples have an Instagram together. The more that couples take pictures together, the better (G13.2). In the United States, couples usually don't share an Instagram. It seems like American couples don’t like to take pictures together (G11.1). Actually, I'm not sure about this.

In Korea, people become a couple after three dates. This was very surprising to learn! In the United States, people become a couple after many dates. Couples are celebrated in Korea. American couples don’t celebrate many holidays together (G11.2), but dating is still important in the United States.
