The kids found it a bit difficult to use small tweezers to pick pasta pieces individually, drop them in glue, pick them back up again, and stick them on to the camel's body. However, the room was filled with giggles when they were trying! They also 'ran' from one house to another. I think that when given a bigger place to do the movements, the children can learn more about spacial awareness. However, this activity did help with learning some body parts and their functions. They also now know that boiling water is dangerous and can burn anything that touches it. The movements also show anger on the wolf's face when the camel won't let him in and fear from the camel when the wolf runs after it. The children also were happy when the wolf left them alone. I read them the story again while they participate with their musical instruments. Depending on how hard the wold had to huff and puff, the children had to match that with the sound of their musical instrument.

For example, if the big bad wolf was in front of the straw house, I would whisper "and he huffed and he puffed and he blew the house of straw down".

The children would play their instruments softly and slowly to match the dynamic of my voice. There was only an hour left from the day and the kids were just not having it. I decided to have a dancing competition with them and see what dances could make the final cut for the three little camels when they celebrate the wolf leaving the town.

The kids danced a lot of Fortnite dances which was funny to see, but I tried to be more creative so I brought over an african teacher to teach them an african dance. 

They had lots of fun trying to copy the dance because it was foreign to them and pretty funny.

Helped with spacial awareness and gross motor skills.
