Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Master Class training for the March 2026 MCT Cohort! My name is Gebretsadkan Abrha from Adama Science and Technology University, CoEEC, and the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department. I hold my BSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Jimma University, an MSc degree in Communication Engineering from Adama Science and Technology University, and recently received my MBA degree from Arsi University. I have more than a decade of teaching experience at Adama Science and Technology University. I am certified in Instructional Design (ID), which was organized by KOICA for the sustainable development of e-learning in Ethiopia five years ago, and I developed a course for e-learning in ASTU in collaboration with my subject matter expert (SME). I have received my cToT certificate recently from ASU, and now I am conducting my first masterclass session for ASTU staff in the March 2026 MCT Cohort as a facilitator. In addition to my regular teaching activities, I have also been actively involved and participating in different committees and activities in the department as well as the university. In my free time, I maintain a balanced lifestyle by engaging in activities such as enjoying time with my family, watching football, reading, and participating in church activities.

Hello, my name is Bethelhem Mulat from Adama science and technology university. I am a lecturer/researcher at Mechanical engineering department. I have my BSC degree in Mechanical engineering and my MSC in Thermal engineering in Gonder university. I am a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Thermals and Fluid Mechanics. I have two years of research experience in this field. I have experience using CFD tools, especially ANSYS, to analyze fluid flow and heat transfer problems. I am interested in teaching, research, and helping students understand engineering concepts and simulation methods. My focus is on applying simulation techniques to solve real engineering problems.

Hello Everyone,

I am Teshome Abdo (PhD), Instructor at College of Applied Natural Sciences, Department of Chemistry in Adama Science and Technology University. I studied my BSc degree in Chemistry at Addis Ababa University, MSc in Organic Chemistry at Punjabi University , India and PhD in Chemistry(Organic and Nano Science) in Andhra University, India. I have an intensive experience in ASTU in teaching and serving the University at different administrative levels up-to Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Hello everyone. This is Teshome Degfie (PhD). I am a researcher at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IPS) and an instructor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at the College of Applied Sciences. I hold a PhD in Natural Product Chemistry, an MSc in Organic Chemistry, and a BEd in Chemistry. I am pleased to be a member of the MCT batch of March 2026.

Hello, everyone,

My name is Mekite Bezu, and I am a Master class trainee of March 2026 from the department of Pharmacy, College of appilied natural sciences, Adama science and Technology University. I hav B.pharm degree in Pharmacy from Addis Ababa University, school of Pharmacy and I also obtained my MSc and PhD. Degrees in Pharmacology from Addis Ababa University.

I have been teaching various Pharmacy courses in the department of Pharmacy both at Arsi University and Adama science and technology Universities Since 2010. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have been involved in several researches in institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Adama science and Technology University both as coauthor and primary investigator.

Alongside my regular teaching and research duty, I have been participating in University affairs both at college and department levels; serving as committee members in renovation of laboratories of college of Applied natural sciences and Accreditation of Pharmacy program curriculum. In my spare time, I like to read books and watching football games.
