         <description><![CDATA[<div>The dark reactions occurs in the stroma by taking the ATP and NADPH from the light reactions from the Calvin cycle to reduce CO2 to sugar. This products is a 3C sugar which is a glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate (G-3-P). In the Calvin Cycle there are 3 essential steps known as carbon fixation, reduction, and regeneration of ribulose biphosphate. In Reduction NADPH reduces to produce G-3-P where 6 total are produce for every 3 CO2. From the light reactions 9 ATPs and 6 NADPH are needed to make one G-3-P (3C) molecule. 18 ATPS and 12 NADPHs are needed to produce one glucose molecule.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A light independent reaction, creates sugar from carbon dioxide. The Calvin cycle has three main steps: carbon fixation, reduction, and regeneration. During carbon fixation, carbon dioxide combines with RuBP to create 3-PGA. During reduction, ATP becomes ADP and NADH becomes NAD+, 3-PGA is reduced to G3P. During regeneration, the molecule RuBP is produced.</div>]]></description>

The three steps to this process is carbon fixation (where carbon adheres to a 5C sugar and catalyzes it), reduction ( where ATP phosphorylates to create 6 ATP and NADH reduces the product), and regeneration of RuBP (where with the help of 3 ATPs a series of reactions produces 3 molecules of RuBP. </div>]]></description>
