         <description><![CDATA[<div>Extra electrons cannot be pushed into metal plates. A metal has an equal number of negatively charged particles as positively charges particles. The extra electrons will be repelled by the negative particles. The metal is neutral.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>If extra electrons accumulate inside the plate, they will repel electrons in the second metal plate. Positive particles in the second plate now at front  will attract the negative particles on the first metal plate.  First plate has more negative partcles. As electrons are added to the first plate, an equal number of electrons leave the second plate.</div>]]></description>

Increasing the area of the plates will increase charge as more electrons can be pushed into the plate. Moving the two plates closer to each other, will also raise the net charge. </div>]]></description>
