This grabbed my attention and gave me courage to try and tell one of my own stories. 
It gave me the understanding that songs are sort of like puzzles. Some of the audience can relate to it whereas others may just become aware of an issue or a side of life they fortunately didn't have to live.

J Cole believed that "Eminem was the best at storytelling through rap". J Cole was inspired by Tupac at an age as early as 7 years old, J Cole expressed that tupacs first album connected with him through the truth even though he was too young to understand what he was talking about.  "I was too young to know what he was talking about, but it connected. Cause that's the thing about art. It's just truth. It's straight-Whatever you feel. So, even as a seven-year-old kid, eight-year-old kid I could hear Pac's early albums and feel the truth." Michaels main inspiration from Marcel was the way he would move his body, he gained his famous moonwalk from watching and observing how marcel moved his limbs to make it look like he was defining gravity.
