Three days a week for 30 minutes she is taken out of the classroom to work with individuals from the intermediate unit. She is getting support for speech and behavior.

I have been observing her and interacting with her on many occasions. She is a child that receives support from the intermediate unit. During the time I have spent with her, I have observed, supported, taught, bonded with and etc. I have been able to see her grow and develop in many different ways.

This standard plays a role in children's language and literacy. She has shown development through completing her writing journal. She appears to work very hard to try and complete each letter for each week in her journal. She gets very excited when it is time to work on her journal. She has a strong ability to use different writing utensils that use fine motor skills.

A created a picture about a non-fiction topic and talked about it. She created a drawing of a plant life cycle. She had an ability to show that she could recite items that she has learned through activities. She was able to talk about and share her connections through the plant life cycle. She was able to understand the concept better through having the opportunity to have a garden at home that she helped with.

During stories that I read to the class she would consistently be raising her hand throughout the stories. She would answer questions, make comments, and ask questions. She would often be more engaged in the stories when she would be communicating her opinions and thoughts. She had an ability to show her understanding of the stories.
