A lot of lectures I have don't do that, and I've seen how beneficial it is to work through what we went over in lecture, as a group.
(2) I would change the pace of the slides. Sometimes, I feel that the slides are gone through quite quickly.
(3) I really like the active learning classroom! Definitely different from my other classes which are in a typical lecture hall. They cover the main concepts and are also simplified enough so that we get to understand them as we complete the quizzes. 2) I would prefer if Professor Bhuyan would work out problems that can be displayed on the projector more instead of on the whiteboards, so that everyone can see clearly. I also would like to do a lot more review consistently (so that I am consistently exposed to the concepts/types of problems) instead of a review session the class before the exam. 3) I like how Professor Bhuyan makes an effort to get to know every individual student :) The active learning style is great. 4) STAY

2) Some of the stuff in the homework isn't taught in class, which I think is a huge problem. For example, we weren't taught how to derive Engel curves but they're on the homework, so it's a little tough to teach ourselves that material. More coverage would be appreciated.
3) I like the screens a lot, makes it a lot easier to see what you're teaching.

2) I do not believe attendance should be mandatory in any class, this is a college course where students should be allowed to make the choice on whether or not to attend, and not have their grades be affected by a de facto attendance check.
3) I like the teaching style in terms of your personal style of relating the material. However I do not think the active environment contributes anything to my learning,  I like to see the teacher when I take my notes, and looking at a screen does not give the same effect.

2. I would like more review for the exams and if possible more chances for extra credit as we can always use it.
3. I really enjoy the classroom style, because it is new and exciting. With that being said, there are a bunch of things in the classroom that don't get used and I can see how some positions in the classroom can render it hard to see the board. I also think that it might be easier to use the document camera.
4. I was hoping to switch groups, but I don't mind if we stay in the current groups.
