There were positive things that Britain did for India, however people have overseen that there are many negative things as well. For example Britain forced their own cultures on India and Indian’s local traditions, culture and religion was ignored. The Indian workers were exploited, their raw materials were taken to back to Britain and the native lands were seized. Also the British army came down very hard on the people that rebels against them.
