A video tutorial will be prepared in advance by the tutor explaining to students how to use the main functions of Grammarly. This will give them a clear guide on how to use the tool and make it easier for them to incorporate it into their writing process. They will also share with students some examples of well-written essays that have been reviewed and edited with Grammarly. These models will serve as a reference for improving their own writing, identifying the characteristics of a clear, coherent, and grammatically correct text.

Instructions (5-10 minutes)

Students are told that they are going to write a 300-500 word essay about the benefits of learning a second language. They must include specific examples of how learning a second language has impacted their life or the lives of people they know, or the world. Before they begin writing, they are asked to open the Grammarly extension in their browser or download the application on their devices, and then explain that, during the writing process, they should use Grammarly to review in real time possible errors and suggestions for improvement.

Practice (40-50 minutes)

Give students enough time to write their essay, revising and editing it with support from Grammarly. Circulate around the classroom and be available to answer questions or provide individual assistance if needed.
