• Respecting teachers is a fundamental part of adab, as they are the bearers of knowledge.

• Adab in learning includes:

  • Paying full attention while learning.

  • Avoiding any form of disrespect.

  • Speaking politely at all times.

Al-Qur'an as the Book of Guidance

• The Qur’an is considered the ultimate source of guidance in Islam.

• It contains truth and direction for all of humanity.

• Muslims believe it is the literal word of God, revealed in Arabic to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

• More than just a religious scripture, it serves as a complete guide for life.

• The Qur’an provides guidance on all aspects of human existence.

• As the divine word, it offers the means to live a righteous, balanced, and meaningful life.

• To learn more efficiently, it's better to sit in front.

• This hadith discusses four aspects: Islam, Iman (faith), Ihsan (excellence), and the Day of Judgment.

Prayer (Solat)

• Shahadah is the first pillar of Islam.

• Common mistakes in prayer:

  • Reciting Al-Fatihah without hearing it yourself.

  • Excessive movement (more than twice).

    • (The allowed gap is about the length of Surah Al-Ikhlas).

  • Wearing dirty or torn clothes.

  • Lack of focus.

• Ways to improve prayer:

  • Improve recitation.

  • Understand the meaning of the recitations.

Fasting (Puasa)

• Trains self-control over desires.

Zakat (Charity)

• Purifies the soul.

• Helps those in need.

Hajj (Pilgrimage)

• Symbol of religious unity.

• Obligatory only if financially and physically able.

In Islam, treating neighbors with kindness and respect is strongly emphasized. A hadith from Ibn Umar states that Angel Jibril (Gabriel) repeatedly advised the Prophet (PBUH) to care for neighbors as if they were family. This highlights the importance of maintaining strong relationships with those living nearby, fostering a peaceful and harmonious community.

Giving Gifts to Neighbors

Giving gifts to neighbors is encouraged, as they are the ones closest to us. This simple act strengthens relationships, builds trust, and reflects care and goodwill.

Ways to Strengthen Bonds with Neighbors

• Offer Help: Support your neighbors when they are in need, whether by providing assistance or resources during difficult times.

• Practice Patience and Tolerance: Be understanding and patient, even when disagreements occur.

• Avoid Causing Disturbance: Be mindful of noise and actions that might inconvenience or disturb your neighbors.

IHSAN referred as the higher spiritual awareness and constant God-awareness of true believers or the sincere servants of Allah

IHSAN is that we worship God as if we see Him. It is built upon the lower degrees and cannot be reached by bypassing them. There is no IMAN without ISLAM and there is not IHSAN without IMAN.

If you cannot reach that level of IHSAN, then the Prophet says “…though you cannot see Him, yet (know that) He sees you.”

This level of IHSAN is equally important too, because, when you realize and understand that Allah sees every single thing you and your behavior towards others around you, you will automatically question yourself when you know you’re overstepping the line or are violating someone else’s rights....

THE TRUTH BEHIND THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT

Hadith Jibril

1.Only Allah knows when Qiyamah will happen – No one, not even the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, has knowledge of its exact time.

2.It will happen suddenly – People will not expect it when it comes.

3.It will be a great and terrifying event – All creatures in the heavens and the earth will be affected.

4.People will be curious about it – Many will ask about its timing, but true knowledge belongs to Allah alone.

5.Most people do not understand – Even though there are signs, many will still not believe or prepare for it.

Small Signs (Minor Signs)

These happen gradually over time and lead to the major signs.

1.The coming of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ – He is the last prophet, and no prophet will come after him.

2.People competing in building tall structures – People will try to outdo each other in constructing the tallest buildings.

3.Increase in dishonesty and betrayal – People will lie, break promises, and cheat without shame.

4.Knowledge will decrease, and ignorance will spread – Religious scholars will pass away, and true Islamic knowledge will become rare.

5.Disobedience to parents will become common – Children will disrespect and mistreat their parents.

6.Time will feel shorter – A year, a month, or even a week will pass very quickly.

Big Signs (Major Signs)

These are extraordinary events that signal the final stages before Qiyamah.

1.Dajjal (False Messiah) – A man with great powers will appear and deceive people by claiming to be God. He will perform false miracles to mislead many.

2.The return of Prophet Isa (Jesus) – Prophet Isa (AS) will come back to defeat Dajjal and bring justice to the world.

3.Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog) – A corrupt and destructive nation will be released, causing chaos and destruction on Earth.

4.The Sun rising from the West – A major sign where the Sun will rise from the opposite direction, and after this, no repentance will be accepted.

5.The Beast (Dabbatul Ard) – A strange creature will appear and speak to people, marking those who believe and those who disbelieve.

6.A great smoke (Dukhan) – A thick smoke will spread across the world, causing suffering and distress.

First Half of the Pillars of Iman

Belief in Allah

• This includes faith in Allah as the Creator and how it connects to the Islamic perspective on evolution.

• As Muslims, we must understand Tawhid (the oneness of Allah) in all aspects of our belief.

Belief in Angels (Malaikah)

• Angels are Allah’s creations who serve and worship Him with complete obedience.

• They carry out divine commands, demonstrating Allah’s power and control over the universe.

Belief in the Holy Books (Kutub)

• This refers to the scriptures revealed by Allah to His messengers.

• The Quran is the final revelation, providing guidance and blessings for all humanity in both this life and the hereafter.

Belief in Prophets and Messengers

• The Quran mentions 25 prophets, each chosen by Allah to guide humanity.

• Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the last and final messenger, sent with the ultimate message for all people.

• Every prophet was given the duty to call people to worship Allah alone and follow His guidance.

Belief in the Day of Judgment

• This is the day when Allah will judge all of humanity based on their actions.

• Every person will be resurrected from their graves and presented with their book of deeds, which records both their good and bad actions.

• On that day, people will feel deep regret for their sins and missed opportunities to do good.

Belief in Qada' and Qadar

• Qada’ (Divine Will) – Everything in the universe occurs according to Allah’s predetermined plan and wisdom.

• Qadar (Divine Decree) – While Allah’s plan is absolute, humans are given free will to make choices and take responsibility for their actions.

The environment—including animals, plants, mountains, and all natural elements—is a creation of Allah (SWT) and remains in constant remembrance of Him. As intelligent and responsible beings, humans are encouraged to appreciate and care for the world that Allah has provided.

Ways to Protect the Environment

• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Minimizing waste through the three R’s helps conserve resources and reduce environmental harm.

• Education: Learning about the importance of nature and spreading awareness encourages responsible environmental stewardship.

• Planting Trees: Trees play a crucial role in sustaining life by providing oxygen, purifying the air, conserving energy, and combating climate change.

Before engaging in any action, we should begin with "Bismillah" to ensure our deeds are pleasing to Allah (SWT) and become acts of righteousness (Amal Salih). However, we must not recite "Bismillah" before sinful actions, such as consuming alcohol.

• Do your five daily prayers on time.

• Try extra prayers like Tahajjud, Duha, and Sunnah.

• In sujood (prostration), talk to Allah and ask for what you need.

2. Read the Qur’an

• Read a few verses each day and understand their meaning.

• Listen to Qur’an during your daily routine.

• Memorize short surahs to use in prayer.

3. Remember Allah (Dhikr)

• Say “La ilaha illallah” often.

• Say “SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi” to gain rewards and erase sins.

• Say “Astaghfirullah” to seek forgiveness regularly.

4. Be Grateful (Shukr)

• Say “Alhamdulillah” for all blessings, big or small.

• Think about Allah’s gifts and thank Him in your heart.

5. Mention Allah in Daily Life

• Say “Bismillah” before doing anything.

• Say “MashaAllah” when you see something nice.

• Say “Inna lillah...” when facing sadness or loss.
