My name is Emilia Frînculeasă, I am a teacher of English at Liceul Teoretic "Radu Vlădescu" and I have been, for a really long time, passionate about reading, ways of encouraging creativity, and cross-cultural learning and teaching. I believe that books open doors to imagination, empathy, and self-discovery. Through the Bookfest 2026 project, I hope to inspire my 8th grade students to read more, think critically, and express themselves confidently in English. I look forward to collaborating, exchanging ideas, and building lasting friendships across borders.

Sunt foarte încântată să iau parte la acest proiect deosebit -BOOKFEST 2026-o oportunitate minunată de a descoperi lumea cărților și de a învăța lucruri noi alături de alți pasionați de lectură.

Sunt foarte încântată să particip la acest proiect! Consider că lectura este unul dintre cele mai frumoase daruri ale lumii. O carte nu conține lecții de viață, o carte este viața însăși, ilustrată prin expresii frumoase și personaje fantastice. De asemenea, consider că o carte este cel mai bun prieten pe care

l-am putea avea, deoarece întotdeauna ne va fi alături și ne va spune adevărul.

Sunt încântat să particip la acest proiect, deoarece ne oferă oportunitatea să ne dezvoltăm abilitățile de lectură, lucru foarte important având în vedere faptul că lectura este cea care ne stimulează creativitatea,ne dezvoltă vocabularul,capacitatea cognitivă și ne formează latura emoțională și socială.

Numele meu este Vasile Delia Maria, am 12 ani și sunt elevă în clasa a VI a A la Liceul Teoretic,,Radu Vlădescu " Pătârlagele. Mă bucur să particip la acest minunat proiect ,,BookFest". Pentru mine, lectura nu este doar o activitate, ci o adevărată pasiune. Când citesc, simt că pășesc într-o lume magică, plină de aventuri, mistere și personaje care prind viață în imaginația mea.

Cărțile mă ajută să mi dezvolt vocabularul, gândirea și creativitatea, dar și să învăț lucruri noi despre oameni și despre lume.

My name is Cîrciumaru Ioana, and I am an 8th-grade student at Liceul Teoretic “Radu Vlădescu” . I am very excited to take part in the “BookFest” project because I love reading and I believe that books help us develop our imagination, enrich our vocabulary, and discover new worlds.

For me, participating in this contest is a wonderful opportunity to share my passion for reading with other young people and to learn new things about both Romanian and world literature.

I am very happy to take part in this project because I believe that reading plays an essential role in our development. Through reading, we enrich our vocabulary, learn to think more deeply, and develop our imagination.

Hello, my name is Roberto and I’m in the 8th grade. I study at Radu Vlădescu Theoretical High School. I’m a chill guy, and I like riding my bike and going for rides on my ATV. My favorite subject is mathematics. I also enjoy reading books. Reading is like taking a break from all the noise around me — a peaceful place where I can relax and discover new worlds. My name is Andronic Miruna Ioana, and I am a student in the 8th grade B at Liceul Teoretic Radu Vlădescu in Pătârlagele, Romania.

I really enjoy reading, because every book helps me discover new worlds and understand people better.

The book I read in English is called “Charlotte’s Web” by E. B. White.

It is a beautiful and emotional story about a friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a spider named Charlotte.

I liked it because it teaches us about kindness, courage, and the importance of helping others, even when it’s not easy.

One quote that stayed with me is:

“You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing.”

I love this sentence because it shows how valuable true friendship can be.

I’m very happy to be here, at Bookfest 2026, and to share my love for reading with all of you.

My passions are sports, motorcycles, and cars. I love books very much, and I also enjoy walking a lot. I believe that books help develop the mind of every person. I like reading, traveling, and discovering new things. I also enjoy riding my scooter and I’m a very responsible person.

My name is Cosmina Hanganu. I am 14 years old and I’m in the 8th grade. I study at Radu Vlădescu Theoretical High School.

In my free time, I really enjoy going for walks, spending time with my loved ones, and cooking. I love trying new recipes and making delicious food for my family and friends.

These activities make me feel happy and relaxed. I also like meeting new people and learning new things every day. I always try to be positive and do my best in everything I do.

Alongside my studies, I also have a series of hobbies that help me develop my creativity and balance my life. One of my favorite hobbies is reading, especially fiction and history, areas that offer me new perspectives on the world. Books are a window into other realities, and through them, I can travel through time and space, living experiences alongside fascinating characters.

In addition, my passion for music is quite profound. I enjoy listening to various music genres, from rock to classical, and I believe each genre has a unique way of expressing human emotions. Over the years, I have learned to play the guitar, and this instrument has provided me not only with a way of artistic expression but also with a method of relaxation and a way to channel my energy.

Moreover, sports play an important role in my life. I have been playing football since childhood, and I believe it is an activity that develops teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. Sports offer me a healthy break from my daily study routine, and through them, I manage to stay in shape and learn how to collaborate effectively with others.

Cărțile sunt una dintre cele mai valoroase surse de cunoaștere pe care le avem. Ele ne ajută să învățăm, să ne dezvoltăm imaginația și să înțelegem mai bine lumea din jurul nostru.

Prin cărți putem călători în timp și spațiu, trăind povești și idei pe care altfel nu le-am putea experimenta.
