         <description><![CDATA[<div>Eugene Allen was born in Virginia in 1919. For severals years he worked as a waiter in Virginia and than in Washington where he was arrived in 1930. He started to work as a pantry man at the White House in 1952. Allen was very affected by the death of President Kennelly in 1963 but it was with a lot of tears that he found the strength to go back to his work. In 1981, Allen atteined the most prestigious rank of butlers serving for th White House. He retired in 1986 and died in 2010 in Maryland.</div>]]></description>
