1) emotions may affect our thoughts and behavior like aggression and violence, so emotions are like what our body is thinking to make decisions based on our emotions. Negative emotions (anger, sadness, stress) will make us overthink and positive emotions (happy, joyful, excited) will make us hyperactive and talkative. Emotions can either enchance or hinder our rational thingking abilities

Example : depends on the individuals, when they feel scared can produce “fight or flight” responsive feelings.

2)
-we are able to control our emotions
- emotions help establish empathy and understanding between individuals.

Example : able to communicate with others, listening ear and able to help others.

3)
- going for long walk
- social support
- do something that we like and make us happy
- to improve ourself (learning from mistakes. Example if we get a low grade that is below our expectations we tend to feel disappointed so to get rid of that feeling we can learn from our mistakes and improve from it. Think from the positive side that not everything is perfect and that we tried our best)

- figure out our body and emotions whenever something bad happened.
Example : we can take time to meditate to think of the situation and figure out what to do instead of raging out
