I’ve always imagined my ideal home as a large and peaceful house located on the outskirts of the city. It would be much bigger and more comfortable than a typical apartment. I prefer it to be cheaper and more spacious, which is why it would be far from the city center.

The house would have three bedrooms, which is more than enough for me and guests, and two modern bathrooms with hot water. The kitchen would be wider and more practical than the one I have now, with a lot of cabinets and a big fridge. The living room would be brighter and more relaxing, with soft sofas and a large window that lets in sunlight.

It would also have a small garden, only for planting flowers, which would make the place look more colorful and nicer. I imagine the walls painted in light colors and the rooms decorated in a cozy style. Even if it’s far from the city, I’d like to have a small store or a bus stop within walking distance.

Do you happen to know if there’s a daycare or school nearby? I saw some kids walking by in uniforms, but I’m not sure where the school is. And what about a nice park? I like going for walks in the afternoon — do you know any place that’s quiet and safe?

I was also wondering if there’s a good corner store around here, like the kind where they already know the neighbors. Is there a local shop people trust, or do you just have to go to the supermarket? Where do you usually shop?

Oh, and coffee shops — are there any good ones nearby? The kind that aren’t super popular but have good coffee and a chill vibe. Do you know any places like that?

And what’s the public transport like? Do buses or vans pass by often, or is it kind of tricky to get around? I’m still figuring out the routes. And in terms of safety, how do you see it? Do you feel okay walking around here at night?

One more thing — do they usually have community activities, like fairs, workshops, or stuff for young people? Or maybe a gym around here that’s not too expensive?

What I enjoyed the most was teamwork because it felt good to do something meaningful with my friends. Even though it was only about 2 hours a week, I felt like we made a positive difference in our neighborhood.
