I think poetry can be fun but it takes a lot of work to both make and practice poetry. poetry is a type of writing. It can be sung or chanted by one or more people. Some but not all poems rhyme.

There are lots of different types of poetry and three of my favourites are acrostic, haiku and limerick. But my absoulute favourite is a limerick. This is because you can almost do anything you want and because you can be silly. Also, I think poetry is something you can do to cheer you up.

I like poetry because it gives me a way of expressing my self in different forms like Haiku, Limerick and Acrostic. I know that poetry dose not have to rhyme but what your trying to do is get a good message across to the reader..

I know that we use poetry almost every day like singing is poetry and I also know that there are different forms of poetry. acrostic is where you use a word and for every leader you find a word that disribes it with the same bigining leader. a haiku poem is a poem that is 17 syables and is 3 lines long. They usealy don't rhyme. Theres also limerick it is a funny poem that has at least 5 lines .that is my under standing of poetry
