Description: This video is looking at all the possible explanations there might be with the Bermuda Triangle.

Connection: This video connects to Unexplained because in the video the host is looking into all the information that could lead to finding out the reason for what is going on in the Bermuda Triangle. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to the video. Doing this would show us other reasons of belief. Agenicity because the host is using the conspiracies in the show to help find answers and what he can't find will be conspiracies. A flaw is that most of the information that they have is not new and has already been looked at. A limitation is that a show like this needs to be more accessible to the public.

Description: This website tells us what is the Bermuda Triangle. it talks about how some people can believe in the unexplained side of Bermuda but also talks about the scientific response to this.

Connection: This website connects to simplicity because it starts by saying that this is what some people will believe even though scientist have proven that weather and the magnetic field is common in this area and that is the main reason for these disappearances. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to the statements of speculation and to what the scientist says. When we look at this website it is saying a lot of information that someone might believe but not showing any evidence that could prove this to be true. A flaw within this website is that there is no proof of the government or scientists saying these things, we just have to take their word for it. I do not think there is a limitation to this website.

Description: This image shows a ship called Cotopaxi that later disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle in 1925.

Connection: This image is an example of confirmation bias because I had looked up a ship that had disappeared in the Bermuda triangle without gathering all the evidence on what could have happened I just assumed it happened on mysterious evidence. This could also be unexplained because this image alone can say a thousand words without any background on what truly happened to the ship. Applying the critical thinking and skepticism to a photo like this is needed to gather evidence. A flaw is that this image comes with no context and anyone could have put this image here.

Description: This is a video that talks about some of the scientific evidence that has been found in the area and compares it to other places in the world with these phenomena.

Connection: This video connects to patternicity because the experts are looking at patterns (I don't see all of them) and thinking these might be the cause. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to this video. Doing this would show us reasons of belief. Simplicity because scientists are trying to explain why they think the Bermuda Triangle is mysterious. A flaw with this video is that the title of the video can be a bit miss leading. A limitation is that they don't talk about the triangle they only have facts about what might be happening.

Description: This website gives an overview of information on the Bermuda Triangle. This is a trusted network and website for information.

Connection: This website connects to proof of verbosity because there is a lot of information found here that agrees that the Bermuda triangle is mysterious or that it's just a hoax. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to this website and the information that is on it. Perception and observation because on this website there is a lot of information and if you only believe in one thing then it lowers the rest of the information. Simplicity is another because there is a lot of information and some of it is hard to understand. A flaw with this website is that it doesn't say where they get their information. A limitation is that to get access to the videos you have to become a member and this is where they have already lost half of their readers.

Description: This is one of the multiple images of the place and size of the Bermuda Triangle. There are a lot of different examples of where the Bermuda Triangle is.

Connection: This image connects to Patternicity because people believe in the Bermuda Triangle and they seem to be able to see the shape of what it is going to look like, while not everyone sees this image we are made to believe that it exist. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to this photo. Doing this would show us the other reasons for belief there. Perspection and observation are one because depending on where you get your information and if you choose to believe it or not is guiding you to believe what you want. Agenticity is another one because the government does not recognize this place as any more than just water people think that the government is trying to cover something up with no evidence that this occurring. A flaw with this image is that because there are other versions of what this looks like it is hard to tell what to believe. A limitation of this image is that there is no close version to this to see where this falls.

This video is from a known youtube channel mostly for kids that can help with the education of some topics.

Connection: This video connects to proof of verbosity because this is a lot of information all at once and it is hard to understand because all the information is moving fast. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to the video. Doing this would show us other reasons of belief. Unexplained is one because the information is not directed in one direction or the other, so if you are watching this then you already have an opinion. A flaw with this video is that you have to look for someone thing like this and not just type in keywords. A limitation is that this information is mostly directed toward kids when this could be for anyone.

It talks about the origin of the name, what makes it so popular, where did all this mystery come from and so of the disappearances in the area.

Connection: This website connects to proof of verbosity because there is a lot of information here to look at, but most of the information is summarized. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to the website. Doing this would show us reasons of belief. Unexplained because this website gives us a lot of information but not until the end of the article does it start by mentioning the reasons for the disappearances. Simplicity is another because with this information it is hard to not already have an opinion of what happened before you get to the significant evidence at the end. A flaw with this website is that there is a time limit and you can only access the website once a day. A limitation is a flaw.

The context in this image is very vague and lacks some important information.

Connection: This image connects to proof of verbosity because there is a lot of information here about the basics of what happened that day, but there is no information here about the cause of what might have happened. Applying the critical thinking process and skepticism to this image. Doing this would show us other reasons for belief. Unexplained is one where the information in the picture is vague and at the end how it ends with a mysterious conclusion, this is going to pique people's curiosity and they are going to want to try to explain it themselves. A flaw with this image is that there is not enough information here and what is here is not enough to have an opinion. A limitation is that there need to be more information.

Reflection Questions:
1. What I learned about the Bermuda Triangle that surprised me the most is that even though we have all probably heard of the triangle is that it is not one of the most dangerous waters for planes and ships, it is not even the top 10.

2. This topic is interesting to me because I have heard of the stories and the conspiracies and it is nice to have all this information to put that curiosity to rest.

3. I found the research from the New York Times to be the most informative because I did know all the information that was said but the way how it was all laid out made it interesting to read.

4. I am most likely to remember from this the shapes of the clouds over the western part of the triangle because I found them to be cool and odd looking.

5. I think the emotional connection is the most harmful because this plays into people's vulnerabilities and uses this against them. I think patternicity to be the least harmful because this is based on patterns that we can see, which we cannot control.

6. I always think that history is the most important to pass on so that it can be reflected on and so that it doesn't repeat again.
