Escritora mediática, se hizo especialmente conocida en España a partir de los años 1970 por sus colaboraciones en programas infantiles y juveniles de Televisión Española como Un globo, dos globos, tres globos, una fama que eclipsó su reconocimiento como poeta de la posguerra española. En su poesía defendió la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres, el pacifismo y la defensa del medio ambiente.
